The Fall Classic, the October Classic, the Series.
No matter what you call it, the best of seven grand finale of the baseball season is a national treasure. A historic pastime and a marker of the changing seasons, the Series takes place as winter is beginning its slow creep down from the arctic, the kids are back in school, and the baseball season has one last hurrah before it shuts down until next spring.
